Dr. Mahmoodian is amazing! A year ago, I was telling my friend about how my refused to give me a referral to an oral surgeon (He simply wanted the money for the operation.) My friend suggested that I try her dentist, Dr. Mahmoodian, at Woodside Dental. Fearing that this would just be like all my previous experiences, I decided to give it a try. What I found was a whole new experience. The Dr. went over everything, explained exactly what she's seeing in the x-rays. Her assistant called my insurance and then told me what everything would cost. Since Dr. Mahmoodian knew I was on a budget, she prioritized the list with the most urgent work. And you know what was first on the list? My wisdom teeth, which she gave me a referral to the oral surgeon of my choice, not fillings at the office which she would benefit from. When doing teeth cleaning, it's Dr. Mahmoodian that does most of the work, not a dental hygienist and that actually makes a big difference. Yes, they give you a goodie bag at the end with some promotional materials, but NO ONE has ever tried to sell me on any of those products while getting my teeth cleaned and the experience of that car dealership I always felt with dentistry offices? It has been replaced with a super personable staff led by what seems to be the most honest dentist I have ever come across.
