Meet the Staff

• Dr. Shilpa Trivedi, Founder
  Dr. Trivedi earned her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from the New York University College of Dentistry, and she has been a respected general and restorative dentist for over 15 years. Dr. Triveda excels in all aspects of dentistry, combining advanced education with state-of-the-art technology to provide the highest level of dental care. To help achieve her goal of eradicating dental disease from society, Dr. Trivedi stays abreast of advances on the field of dentistry and continually updates her skills.
  
  As a compassionate general and restorative dentist, Dr. Trivedi works one-on-one with patients to achieve highly-attractive results. Her friendly demeanor and compassionate approach helps soothe fearful patients, and she always discusses any concerns about matters of longevity and health.
  
  Dr. Trivedi's professional memberships include the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the New York State Dental Society. She is an active member of the community and regularly volunteers with human rights organizations such as Youth for Human Rights, The Citizen's Commission on Human Rights, The Way to Happiness Foundation, and the Second Chance Program.
  
• Dr. Linda Lee, Founder
  Dr. Linda Lee graduated from the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 2000 and then completed her general practice residency at the St. Vincent Catholic Medical Centers. Dr. Lee's goal is to give her patients a healthy and beautiful smile while ensuring their comfort during the process. She is proficient in all aspects of dentistry, and she has been a certified Invisalign provider since 2004. She enjoys providing our patients with high-quality dental work for smiles that last a lifetime.
  
  Dr. Lee is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry. She spends her free time traveling on medical and dental mission trips; she has been to Costa Rica twice and Kenya three times. Dr. Lee looks forward to visiting many more countries in the future, so she can provide much-needed dental work to those who cannot afford it.
  
• Dr. Medhat Awad, Founder
  Dr. Awad graduated from Cairo University in Egypt with a BDS in 1991 and then from NYU with an HDD in Oral Surgery in 2000. He became a dentist to help people have a better quality of life through proper health care. His personal interests include playing soccer, table tennis, running, and reading.
  
• Dr. Sanford Schimmel, Orthodontist
  Dr. Schimmel graduated from NYU Dental School in 1969. He became a dentist, because he was always interested in helping people and improving the aesthetics of their smiles. He also has been a past president of the Bronx County Dental Society, and he is currently a delegate to the American Dental Society. In his spare time, Dr. Schimmel enjoys jogging, tennis.
  
• Dr. Lawrence Schimmel, Orthodontist
  Dr. Schimmel graduated from NYU Dental School in 2001. His passion for dentistry stems from his desire to help people look and feel their best. In his spare time, he enjoys scuba diving, playing the guitar, and playing with his two kids.
