Unfortunatally, dentures were not an option 6 years ago. I was miserable at 39, walking around feeling like my Grandmother. Before I went to Dr. Scelfo, I was walking around with my hand in front of my mouth if I had to talk to people. That went on for years.. I went to Dr. Scelfo, he took my Dentures for the day, I went back later that day, to get them. A week Later, I had a fitting, he fixed what might night have looked right. Nothing needed to be fixed, they were Perfect. He sent them out had the Permenant dentures made. One week after the temporary was fitted in my mouth, the permenant denture was made. I went in 2 weeks after that for a minor adjustment.. PERFECT. I have had the most compliments.. People have no Idea their is a denture in my mouth. I can Chew, talk, sociallize like I used to before the first denture was made by a dentist that I will not disclose his name. Just know.. Dr. Scelfo Gave me my Life back.... He is the most Wonderful Dentist EVER.. I HIGHLY Reccommend him to EVERYONE. He is caring, a perfectionist, and you are never kept waiting.. Thank you Doc, and to all in your office, that always makes me feel comfortable, knowing how uncomfortable I was when I first came in. You all gave me my confidence back...

In 2001 I got the most terrible news, after 23 years of keeping my top teeth in my mouth, by every available means necessary including periodontics, cleanings every 10 weeks and many other procedures including bone grafts and root scaling…there was no other way to save them. On December 27th all of my top teeth were extracted and I was fitted with a complete denture. Much to my horror, I was told that I must take my “teeth out at night” which was the most upsetting part of the whole ordeal. However, much to my chagrin I did take them out each night and made up my mind that I would not do this for the rest of my life. After saving the money for several years, in 2006 I approached Dr. Scelfo and we began to make plans to replace the removable denture with “implants” and all I could think of was that soon I would have permanent teeth. What a fool! This procedure started in the chair of a very qualified dental surgeon who Dr. Scelfo had worked with for many years. In fact, he removed my daughter’s wisdom teeth in the early ‘80s. I had several procedures at the beginning of 2007 to prepare my bone structure for the implants, which were finally put in on August 2nd of that year with both the surgeon and the dentist discussing the placement so that the new denture would be secure. In April of 2008, we reached the next to last series of appointments, Dr. Scelfo made a set of dentures that were temporary but were semi-permanent they were installed on the implants. Since August 2nd of 2008, I have the most gorgeous smile around…my mouth has never looked this good and I owe it all to a very talented man who cares about his patients like they are his children and has the patience of a saint. Dr. S. I met you in 1975 and have been happy with the work you have done through all these years but my implants are my pride and joy and I still go for cleanings every 10 weeks. Oh, one more note he is also a perfectionist!

Between the state of the art equipment, and Dr. Scelfo's knowledge, there is no doubt, you are getting the best care.
