I have had the good fortune to now be in the capable hands of Dr. Michael Spicer, after years and years of being treated by very incompetent dentists. Dr. Spicer explains his procedures with such accurate detail and when he is working on your mouth makes sure you are aware of what he is doing and that you are comfortable with the procedure. After being told that not much could be done for me in the way of dentistry, Dr. Spicer has solved what seemed like an impossible situation and has made it very possible and soon I will be able to smile again.. For over 30 years I have practiced in Roslyn, on the North Shore of Long Island, providing the highest quality of care. My patients include some names you would likely recognize. I am known for caring honest treatment, and I have been told I have a very gentle touch. I look at you with the eye of an artist and sculptor, and I feel all dentistry should cosmetically enhance your looks. Please enjoy my website. We look forward to seeing you!
Meet the Staff
- Lisa Seidl – hygienist – has worked here for 14 years as a hygienist, previously worked here as a dental assistant for 4 years – she is like a second set of eyes for me, as she examines while she does prophylaxis, and often will call me in to investigate. Patients say she is the most gentle hygienist they have ever had.
- Betsy Spicer – office manager and front desk – My wife has worked here for the past two years, since her retirement as a college math professor for City University. Her presence in the office has underscored and reinforced the feeling of homeliness I like to give my patients. As a mathematician, she has found ways to help patients with their insurance coverage, and as an educator, she can provide valuable backup in explaining treatment plans.
