My Prosthodontist noticed during an examination that the gum line on one of my front teeth was badly receded to the point that the tooth could possibly shift in position with adjoining teeth. He informed me that I needed a Gum Graft and he highly recommended Dr. Laureen Langer for the procedure. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but upon my arrival at Dr. Langer’s office the anxiousness quickly abated. The office is located in Manhattan, on 5th Avenue between 74th and 75th Streets, adjacent to Central Park and it is very modern, extremely clean, comfortable and the logistics provide complete privacy during a consultation or treatment. The staff members that greet patients at the front desk are friendly, polite, efficient and reassuring. Patients are taken into a treatment room at the time of their appointment and the room is immaculate and filled with all the latest, cutting-edge equipment. Meeting Dr. Langer for the first time was also a pleasure. Her demeanor is extremely professional, courteous, calm and understanding. All needed work is fully explained and discussed prior to any implementation. And, it must be cited that she and her husband are noted World Wide for the Gum Graft procedure that they developed and use in their Practice. I have been Dr. Langer ‘s patient for the past five years and during that time I have had two Gum Grafts, one Extraction, and one Implant performed by her all with complete success and the pain level was practically non-existent. I have had more discomfort in other Dentists’ Offices who merely filled a cavity. Dr. Langer receives a perfect, 10-plus rating from me and I feel truly fortunate to have been recommended to such a highly-skilled, caring professional who is recognized formally as one of New York’s “Top Dentists”, an honor well-deserved.
