“An awesome dentist!”

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Halpern this past April in order to schedule the removal of my wisdom teeth. My first time meeting him, he was nice, friendly and quick to see to it that my teeth be removed as soon as possible (they were quite impacted according to the X-ray). Fast forward to the day of my extraction, I was extremely nervous since this was the first time that I had a formal operation (complete with anesthesia and everything), but Dr. Halpern and his team assured me that it would be relatively quick and relatively painless. For the most part, it was. I knew then that I was put in the right hands from the very start. The next day I was up and about, regardless of the pain and swelling that lingered once the Novocain wore off (which is normal). With any other oral surgeon though, I may not have been as lucky. Although the extraction served as the gateway to some post-op problems (namely infections), Dr. Halpern expressed the same upbeat charisma that he had during our first interaction and bestowed confidence of a pain-free experience for future procedures. Because of the infections, Dr. Halpern performed two IND's (Incision + Drainage) on both the left and the right side of my mouth in order to make sure that there would not be a relapse of the infection. The first IND was done in June, and the second was done this past Monday of me writing this. Both procedures were pain-free and have since controlled the spread of infection. I am confident that Dr. Halpern's work not only improved my quality of life, but has also decreased my mouth's susceptibility to infection thanks, in part, to the IND's. I have no one else, except for Dr. Halpern, to thank for the relatively pain-free experience when for most people, it may have been traumatizing. With that, I can only say "thank you" once more Dr. Halpern!
“Implant Surgery--Forget the Anxiety”

I recently had my 2nd implant surgery performed by Dr. Kenneth Halpern and Dr. Emily Halpern. Actually I had a "Sinus Elevation Procedure" and "Endosteal Implant Placement" in one sitting. Unlike my first surgery a number of years ago in another state, this surgery was a "piece of cake". The procedure was painless, quick, and the docs and staff were very professional and accomodating. I went shopping later that afternoon, out to eat that evening, and made a show in NYC the next day before flying home. I highly recommend Dr. K. Halpern and Dr. E. Halpern to you and TopDoc America.

I recently went to Dr. Halpern for an implant and I was amazed with the quality of the care and the level of expertise. I felt extremely comfortable with the entire staff and I felt equally at ease following up with Dr. Halpern regarding various questions that I had both pre-op and post-op. While I hope I never need another implant, if I do, I would not even consider another doctor... this practice is simply the best across the board.

We perform all facets of oral surgery with a special emphasis on the placement of dental implants. Twenty years ago I pioneered the concept of minimally invasive implant therapy, allowing placement of dental implants without the need for flaps and suturing. Utilizing these techniques, we have eliminated the swelling, bruising and most of the discomfort associated with the placement of dental implants.
