Meet the Staff

• Nancy Austin - Office Manager - Nancy Austin has been enthusiastically involved in dentistry since 1977. She loves helping patients make appropriate decisions about their dentistry and creating beautiful smiles. Nancy will be the first smiling face you see as you walk into our office. Her skills in arranging financing will help nearly every patient obtain the smile of their dreams. When Nancy is not at work you can find her powerwalking, or spending time with her family. Nancy and her husband Paul enjoy their time off with their family, especially their two grandchildren Jack and Kate.
• Nancy Sullivan - B.S.D.H. Periodontal Therapist - Nancy graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia in 1981 with a baccalaureate degree in dental hygiene, and in 1982 moved to California from New Jersey. Since graduating she has practiced in general and periodontal dental offices, taught at USC School of Dentistry, and has been a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association, where she served on the board of directors for the local chapter. Nancy enjoys a variety of exercise activities and dance. She and her husband Steve make their home in Dove Canyon.
• Michelle Reed - RDH - Michelle has 23 years of dental hygiene experience encompassing both general practice and periodontal practice. Utilizing her sense of humor, kind heart and gentle touch she is passionate about motivating and helping her patients achieve excellent dental health. Michelle has the distinction of successfully passing three state dental board examinations and holds licensure in California, Montana and Washington! She and her husband of 23 years, Steve, have three children and are involved in the ministry of Young Life. Their oldest daughter is a junior at UCLA, their younger daughter is a freshman at the University of Oregon and their son T.J. is a junior at Foothill High School. They have been living in North Tustin since they moved to California in 2000.
• Sylvia Christianson - R.D.A. Clinical Assistant - Sylvia’s high energy and caring way make her a real asset to our dental team. She loves taking care of our patients and enjoys helping to create beautiful smiles. Sylvia has been with us for 18 years, with a total of 30 years in dentistry. When not at work you will find Sylvia enjoying time with her husband of 40 years, Jim. Her daughter Shannon just graduated last June from Loma Linda University with her Doctorate. She now is working as a Physical Therapist. Her son Jim is married to Charlene who is a Speech Pathologist. Jim is a Professional Photographer. Sylvia is a new grandmother. Her grandson's name is Ian, and she sees him whenever possible. Unfortunately, they live in Colorado. Sylvia is a watercolorist, and is in the process of having a website created to promote her work. She also loves rollerblading and golf.

Hobbies and Interests

• Sculpture: I have shown many of my sculptures including a juried show at the Laguna Festival of the Arts, Irvine Bowl in 2007. I have also won many awards including one taking "Best in Show" at an international show in Nashville, TN.
• My other interests include Photography, Digital Art, Cosmology, Quantum Physics, Sailing, History of Western Civilization, and my three granddaughters. I am also an avid reader.
