Office Tour
Our office is unusual in today's medical environment. When you come to the office you will see the doctor- not a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant. All of the procedures done are performed by Dr. Kaplan. He follows his own patients except when he is out of town. If you have a question or a problem you will be able to talk to him, not to a doctor who doesn't know you. We believe in the importance of quality and continuity in medical care. The office staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We are also honest... we will tell you what your insurance is likely to cover and what it likely will not. We specialize in vein disease, vascular, and general surgery. Dr. Kaplan is the director of both a wound care and a hyperbaric center, and therefore is an expert in treating patients who have difficulties in healing. He was one of the first physicians in the Bay area to treat veins with a minimally invasive approach and was featured on Dr. Dean Edell's television program.
Meet the Staff
- Yvonne is our receptionist and medical assistant. She is fluent in Spanish and is very friendly and helpful.
- Cindy is our billing specialist. She works closely with patients to assist them in dealing with their insurance companies.
- Braden, our ultrasound technologist, is extremely knowledgeable and experienced.
