Patient Knowledgeable re one of his areas of expertise (sleep apnea), however, unless you want to be taken advantage of financially, I would steer clear of his office (& Sutter Health). My first visit for the consultation and prescription to go to the sleep lab (about 20-25 minutes in duration), was billed at $610.00, about 3x what two other doctors I checked with charge. After bringing this to Dr. G-McC's attention (and his office staff, Sutter Health Billing, and Customer Care), I was told that this was an erroneous amount. Problem was that Dr. G-McC and Sutter Health did absolutely nothing for me despite repeated promises to the contrary. They "hid" behind the stonewalling excuse that the coding was correct, despite the admission that the code was inherently wrong for the service rendered. Blue Shield was no assistance either. I met with this Dr. once, so this review is an impression. It was a five star discussion regarding options and choices. I don't know about billing, but I know this man knows what he is talking about...and that is very important!
