“Patient's mom”
By: Elizabeth D.
Dear Dr. Guss, I just wanted to say thank you to you, Dr. Miller and all your wonderful staff for being so kind to my daughter Mary and I this week. We were walking into the unknown office and left with such a warm feeling and excellent results. Mary is thrilled with her new smile. Thank you for being so honest and caring. Best regards.

“Patient”
By: Linda Evanko
Your website is terrific! Thank you for including me in your mailing. Your entire staff is delightful, professional and so incredibly highly skilled in each of their areas of expertise. Beyond that, I would never consider going to any source other than yours for my reconstructive work, which was done by Dr. Goldman. I knew the minute we concluded our very first consult that he would be an absolute perfectionist and make me feel like the most important patient he ever had...the ability to accomplish that in today's rushed world is a gift he possesses and a promise he never failed to deliver. You might say "he had me at hello"--but now I have beautiful teeth to smile back at him! Sincere and warmest gratitude for all you do...Linda

Office Tour
The most important people in our practice are our patients. We enjoy each day because we have the privilege to help people look and feel their best. It is the deep relationship that we develop with each patient that allows us to personalize their treatment and deliver the highest quality dental treatment to each individual. Helping nice people is what we enjoy doing each day.
We truly listen to each person’s needs and questions. We never rush. After making a complete and thorough study of your dental health we take the time to explain your problems, answer your questions and set goals with you to help you keep your teeth for a lifetime in maximum comfort, function, and looking your best. We live by the quote from Michelangelo, “Trifles make perfection and perfection is no trifle.”
We value and work hard to earn and keep your trust so that we can continue to give you the highest level of personalized service and care. This includes respecting your time and being on time for our appointments together.
The doctors have been invited to teach at over 30 dental schools and at major dental meetings. Thousands of dentists have attended cosmetic and reconstructive courses presented by Drs. Guss, Goldman and Miller featuring advanced techniques that they have pioneered. They have in-office dental lab technicians who customize each restoration for each person.
Meet the Staff
- Donald W. Miller, DMD: Welcome to our practice! I am devoted to enhancing smiles and providing my patients with the highest quality of preventative and restorative dental care. The partnership I establish with each patient is the key to dental wellness while also providing the opportunity for me to connect on a personal basis with members of my beloved community! I know how important a fabulous smile is to everyone, as it boosts your confidence and enhances your interaction with others. A truly gorgeous natural smile, one that lights up a room, says something positive about that person! I know that a great education doesn't stop in the classroom. In order to provide my patients with the best and most up-to-date services available, I actively pursue my continuing education. Outside of the office, you will find me enjoying special time with my Wife and children, Sophia, Devon, and Michael. I also love golf, skiing, and sailing on the Sound. We invite you to browse through our web site and get to know us better. We continuously improve and expand our services to better serve our patients. We realize that when it comes to your smile, you have many choices. We want to help you make the decision that means comfort and great services for your family!
- Stephen H. Guss, DDS: I believe in treating each person that I see with respect and empathy. I strive for excellence both in the dental care that is given to each patient, and just as important, in the quality of our relationship. The trust placed in me by our patients is truly valued by me. It's an honor and privilege to serve them. I enjoy each day that I practice because of the wonderful patients that I treat and the exceptionally skilled staff that I work with. After acquiring my DDS, I became the co-chief of Prosthetics in Park City Hospital. I have lectured to over 5,000 dentists on cosmetic and reconstructive dental techniques that were pioneered in our office. Although my required education is complete, I know that I can only serve my patients the best dental care possible by staying on top of new technology and methods. I continuously take courses and attend seminars as a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, as well as a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Fairfield County Study Group, the American Academy of Osseointegration, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology. When not practicing dentistry, I enjoy spending quality time with my Wife and family. I also enjoy skiing, kayaking and flower gardening. I regularly volunteer my dental skills to victims of domestic violence and to The National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. I believe that each day presents us with an opportunity to make life better for others while becoming closer to our best self. I hope you'll come in and experience the difference a caring and accepting atmosphere can make.
- Richard Goldman, DDS: I believe in treating my clients like my friends and family in delivering the highest quality dentistry available in a home-like practice environment. I truly enjoy the relationships I have developed with my patients while creating smiles that are beautiful and functional. We know that there are a variety of ways to maintain positive oral care and a fresh image, which guides our commitment in helping patients meet their needs. We hold ourselves to the highest standards, striving to make your visit with us comfortable, pleasant and memorable. In order to become a dentist, I began my education at the New York University College of Dentistry. I then became a dental resident at Beth Israel Medical Center. Afterward, I opened a private practice in Fairfield, Connecticut. One aspect of dentistry that I truly love is that it changes almost daily. There are always new technologies and methods that provide a more efficient and comfortable experience for patients. That is why I consider my continuing education an incredibly important part of my job. I am a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, and a member of numerous local and national dental clubs and organizations. I regularly attend courses and seminars on the latest dental advancements that apply to my patients. In my free time I enjoy winter sports, especially skiing! I also love spending time with my Wife, our sons and their families, including my two wonderful grandchildren, Henry and Sadie, who make me smile every time I think of them. Our entire staff shares my philosophy and commitment to provide you with excellence in cosmetic dentistry with the highest level of service. We build long-lasting relationships with our patients, one smile at a time! We take great pride in helping you achieve the look and smile you've dreamed of.
- Anabella: Hello! I am Anabella, our Receptionist and Appointment Coordinator, and the first staff member and smiling face that greets patients upon arrival to our office. I am proud to be part of a team that provides the highest level of service at all times and enjoys exceeding our patients' expectations. I have worked in all aspects of our practice for 19 years and I am continually touched by the trust and confidence our patients have in us. Their friendly smiles brighten my day and I love connecting with my patients on a personal level. When I'm not at work, I am a personal trainer and Pilates and Yoga instructor teaching classes, strengthening and sculpting new bodies, and continuing the transformation for a happier and healthier client. I love skiing, in-line skating, cooking, and reading in my spare time.
- Pat: Hello, my name is Pat and I am our office’s Financial Coordinator. I love meeting all our friendly patients and their families and educating my patients to help make it possible for them to afford quality treatment. We try to make it possible for everyone to have wonderful oral health. Our doctors are caring, genuine professionals who truly enjoy helping patients to be pain-free. I spend my free time listening to music, going to the gym, and taking long walks. I also love to dance!
- Denise: Hi! My name is Denise and I assist Dr. Miller chairside for restorative and surgical procedures. I enjoy seeing the improvement of patients’ oral health and how a good smile gives them such confidence. I also enjoy building personal relationships with my patients and many of them have become like my second family. I grew up in New York, moved to Massachusetts, and ended up here in Connecticut! I enjoy gardening, motorcycle riding, and spending time with my daughter, our two kittens, and our dog.
- Marta: I’m a Chairside Dental Assistant working each day with Dr. Guss. I love seeing the before and the incredible after results we achieve with our patients. I also enjoy the connections we make as we get to know them and their families creating lasting and trusting relationships. I am originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and live in Stratford, CT, with my Husband, Peter, our two kids, Alyssa and Brandon, and of course, Nimbus, our Siamese cat. Life has never stopped since I came to this country in 1986. I love the outdoors, movies, arts and antiques, and reading fiction novels. I also enjoy time with family and friends and my dream when I retire is to raise alpacas!
- Tina: Hello, I’m Tina and assist Dr. Goldman. I am proud to be part of a dental practice where the environment is warm and friendly, and patients are cared for as a friend or family member. I enjoy interacting with our patients making sure they feel comfortable and have a positive experience while they spend time at the office. We are professional and take our jobs seriously, but there is still a lot of laughter and smiling! There is nothing more rewarding than to see a patient smile when they see the results of cosmetic dentistry and they are able to smile with confidence. In my free time I enjoying going to the beach, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
- Terry: Hello, my name is Terry and I have been a Hygienist for the last 16 years. Over the years, I have been rewarded by developing relationships with my patients that have allowed me to provide not only excellent dental care, but long-lasting relationships that have kept our patients coming to our practice for over 30 years! When I am not at work, I enjoy being involved with my children's activities and spending time with my family and friends.
- Betsy: I have been a Dental Hygienist at this practice for 25 years, making sure that my patients have the healthiest and most beautiful smiles possible. I really enjoy getting to know my patients. My goal is to keep them comfortable and relaxed so that they can express their needs and wants to improve their dental health. Our team truly cares about our patients and their well-being, and we also enjoy each other’s company outside of the office! I have been happily married for over 30 years with two grown daughters and a wonderful dog, Chico, whom we adopted recently. I enjoy walking my dog twice a day, playing basketball with my daughters, playing tennis almost every weekend, bocce ball, and pinnacle.
- Judy: I very much enjoy working with patients to help them achieve their best dental health through my many years of dental hygiene experience. I am extremely grateful for all the wonderful people that I have had the pleasure of getting to know over the years and enjoy our visits together. My Husband’s name is Tony and we have two grown sons, Mark and Gary. I enjoy walking, biking, gardening, reading, and traveling to Portugal. My family experiences have led me to be passionate about those with disabilities. The Kennedy Center and Special Olympics are organizations very dear to me.
