- Dr. Melnick received his B.S at UC Davis in 1976 and his M.S. in 1978. After working as a research biochemist for three years, Dr. Mednick entered the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco and graduated in 1985. He then completed a residency program in podiatric surgery at Mission Oaks Hospital (now part of the Good Samaritan Hosptial) in Los Gatos, California.
