If you want the cleanest most healthy teeth, make an appointment with Dr. Poiman's office right now. I moved across country and had a toddler a few years ago. Accordingly, I had been unable to see Dr. Poiman until this past Christmas when I was vacationing in NYC and decided to see if I could get an appointment with him while I was in town for those few days. Although my west coast dentist is competent, I've not been very excited about the cleanings I have received at her offices. One visit to Dr. Poiman's offices and I knew why nothing else was ever going to satisfy me. The quality that Dr. Poiman demands of his hygenists is unsurpassed. He instructed her to use lots of an external numbing agent on my gums and teeth b/c he remembered how sensitive my teeth were, and then I got the best cleaning I have had in years- since leaving NYC. He has the most advanced equipment, the high powered water pick to clean teeth, and his hygenists employ a combination of the old school cleaning techniques with the new technology to come up with the most effective way to clean your teeth. I really cannot say enough about how clean my teeth were, and how much was obviously left behind by average cleanings from my west coast dentist. I plan on doing my best to make Dr. Poiman's office a regular stop on all of my east coast vacations- b/c you don't get that kind of clean in most places.

Dr. Poiman is the best dentist ever and very highly recommended. I'm a patient of his for a long time. Everyone in Dr. Poiman’s office is extremely professional, nice and ready to answer any of the questions that you might come up with. He has taken excellent care of my teeth. He replaced all my old silver fillings with white ones. His laser technology is awesome; you can not feel anything at all! Then I wanted to do front veneers but was concerned with the procedure and cost. He took the time to explain the entire process to me, answered all of my questions, and resolved my uneasiness. In addition, whereas other dentists were quick to get the veneers on, I felt like Dr. Poiman actually cared about my dental health. Now I know my teeth not only look great, but are in the best condition they have ever been in. I highly recommend this doctor and his practice.

Simai Hospital and co-authored the book: "Laser Dentistry for Children". Dr. Poiman is one of only 450 dentists worldwide to graduate from the UCLA Aesthetic Continuum. He has had his aesthetic career published in "Dentistry Today" a research magazine for dentists.
